Christina MisseyChristina has extensive experience in immigration law, primarily in family-based immigration and removal defense. During law school, Christina participated in her law school's immigrant and human rights clinic, where she represented non-citizens before the Immigration Court in Orlando, Florida. After graduating law school, Christina continued to represent immigrants in removal proceedings at various private firms in Maryland. While in private practice, Christina advocated before the Board of Immigration Appeals to recognize "prosecutorial witnesses" as a proposed social group in Matter of H-L-S-A-. Christina has also served as an immigration consultant to the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Maryland on federal re-entry cases as well as collaborated with the Office of the Public Defender's Post Conviction Unit.

In addition, Christina has experience in employment-based immigration matters, including H-1B's, PERM labor certification, L, O/P related visas, and STEM-OPT petitions.

Christina is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Illinois, the Executive Office for Immigration Review, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
